Department of Mathematics and Science Education which has been continuing to its activity under Primary Education Department since 1997, with the intention of the decision taken on 15.06.2016 by Higher Education Executive Board and the framework of restructuring carried out in the Faculties of Education came into action in 2016-2017 academic year.
Our department continues its activities with 7 Professors, 5 Associate Professors, 5 Assistant Professors and 4 Research Assistants.
In addition, SAÜ Institute of Educational Sciences has a Master's program in Mathematics Education and Master’s and PhD programs in Science Education.
Our graduates are able to teach in official and private schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education or they can continue their academic life by attending Master’s and PhD programs.
